About the Institute
Mission Statement
The mission of the Medical Association of Georgia’s Institute for Excellence in Medicine, Inc. is to improve patient safety and achieve clinical improvements for Georgia physicians and their patients.
Goals
- To provide information and tools to private practicing physicians that assist physicians in private practice to continuously improve outcomes and care processes;
- To sponsor research, education and evaluation initiatives, focusing on practical methods for improving the quality of medical care.
- To collaborate on quality initiatives and to share information as appropriate with external bodies, including the business community;
- To provide a forum for Georgia physicians to assume a role as a catalyst for medical practice improvement.
